Surefit's brief was to renovate the sales counter but within  the stringent guidelines determined by the theatre's status as a listed building.

The front of the counter was lowered to grant wheelchair bound customers easier access and

 
  The reverse side of the counter was completely redesigned making it roomier and consequently easier for the staff to use the consoles

was refaced  in formica and finished in ash panelling and skirting
